Why does my dog do something he KNOWS is wrong?

Why does a teenager do this. Because they think they can get away with it and think they are smart. So what you need to do if possible is put the litter box in a bath room or some area where you can put a gate across the access, baby gate, cats can get to it, teenager can't. Worked when we had cats and dog. Good luck
