I was hungover pretty bad yesterday and was throwing up.........?

...for about 5 hrs. I couldn't retain water and was throwing up bile (i looked it up-that yellow stuff) for a long time. I stuck it out and felt better by night but am concerned I may have caused damage elsewhere in my body. Do you know the aftermath of such? Please explain how it affects my body in the short and long term. It's the day after and I feel like crap still.
