What does this dream mean?

I dreamed I was at a nice restaurant with some friends. And one of the guys was a friend of a friend, I didn't really know him that well. And at some point during the dinner, he anounces that he has some pages from my diary(I don't actually have a diary, but in the dream I did). And he found a entry that mentioned him and began reading it aloud. Everyone thought it was funny, which of course was the point. It was as if he was reading it with the malicious intent of humiliating me. And I was mortified, but I did not show it, I just brushed it off and laughed a little myself. But I was really horrified at how exposed and vulnerable I felt, even though the entry itself did not say anything particularly incriminating, it was something that was never intended to be shared with anyone else. It was the worst feeling, when I remembered the dream yesterday, I felt nauseated. What could this dream mean? The person who was reading the diary has no significance to me.
