Do i have a appendicitis?

I've been haveing pain on my right side of my stomach for about 2years now but the funny thing is it only happens around every six months or so. It will start out just like a cramp but over the period of about two hours the pain gets so bad that i cant walk or even lay down. But the extreme pain only last about 45min-1hr then the pain goes away and it goes back to being just a small cramp but lately these incidents have been closer together not days closer but months any idea what it could be?
