My hair keeps breaking off...does olive oil help stop breakage?...help me PLEASE?

ok so i went to the barber shop and got a texturizer (chemical relaxer) it looked nice when i got out the chair. in fact it still looks nice some weeks later except for one problem. MY HAIR TEXTURE IS EXTREMELY brittle. its breaking of at the root ant my ends are all SCREWED w/ a capital EWW! how do i stop the breakage and restore my hair? IM NOT!!! CUTTING it i refuse....i was watching Tyra and i heard OLIVE OIL is good for conditioner. BUt i need my hair to stop breaking and SH*T immediately. can some1 please help me
