Do you think i should take the next move or him?

ok i have a best friend who is a guy. i told him i have a SUPER crush on him. he said he liked me back. i'm stuck in a kind of love triangle. where my other best friend let's call her tracy.... and call him jake she likes jake he liked stacy in the past it didn't work out because of her family disliking him. so he still likes stacy but he has kind of gotten over her. he said he always liked me, but i'm not sure about that. any way should i wait tell he is completely over her or what? this would be my first boyfriend ever. Soo help me out. and also told him that i wanted to stay friends because if we ever dated what would happen if we broke up, our friendship wouldn't be there anymore. and i want it to be there.plus my parents say they aren't ready for me to start dating and think i'm a little too young as well as him.
