Alternative Hypoallergenic Formula?

My 10 week old son has a milk protein allergy and has colic. I had him on Similac Alimentum and he HATES it, wont eat plus he appears to be in pain when eats it. We found and organic lactose free formula that he loves but he gets some of the allergic symptoms (stuffy nose, little rash on the face). All the hypoallergenic formulas I find stink and taste horrible and they don't help him. My Dr. says if he likes the lactose free organic go with it so he is eating and treat the stuffy nose with saline. But I'm concerned this could lead to a more severe allergy down the road. I'm so confused and not sure if I should try some other hypoallergenic formulas and if so, which one? Does anyone have any suggestions
