Meeting boyfriends parents, he is pushing!?

I have been seeing my boyfriend for about three months now and he has been pushing me to meet his family since the first month. I told him I want to WANT to meet the family not be forced. The whole time I have been maneuvering around it. Still not ready, but he is so ready I feel awful and maybe I'm just scared. Now I almost feel like I have waited too long and I know he is running back to them telling them I will not come meet them. If I decide to go they know I do not have interest in being there. Ugh have I waited too long who is right?
