sorry g/f .. but there's nothing you can do to make sure that it does not happen again.. unfortunately you can't control these things. So having said that.. because you're so devastated and hurt.. I agree that some time off may work for you. YOU are still very young and hon there are plenty, plenty fish out there. So it's not the end of the world. Bottom line.. even if he was drunk, if this guy truly does love you. he had no business messing around or inviting some other chick out with him that's the bottom line.
