Welfare question?

i have a sister that has her 2 grandkids . her daughter 24 just didn't want them. she trying get full custedy . she works for water company she thinks they trying get her quiet. the 2 boys 5 and 7 if she went on welfare how much do you think she can get. ? oh she in louisiana. and also i know for her trying get custedy of the two boys may look bad if she had to go on to welfare. if you been through this before are know someone that has been. please let me know. thank you.
