Do I repel women because I am mentally ill?

I am a 22 year old single male and I for some reason just do not attract women I mean I am not really great looking I am ugly but have been told I am a good looking guy. The guys at work tell me they get numbers posted on their windshield and that girls walk up to them and give them their number and they arent fitness models. I am mentally ill is it poissible I give off certain chemicals that that biologically girls can sense and repels them? For example deer have scent glands on their legs that give off certain scents or whatever to tell whether they are fit for breeding is it the same with us humans? I notice alot of mentally ill people are single.
